Limburgse Abrikozenvlaai Fleece Blanket

Bring a delicious piece of Limburg tradition into your home with this Limburgse Abrikozenvlaai Fleece Blanket. The design features a detailed close-up of an apricot vlaai, with warm golden pastry strips arranged in a traditional lattice pattern over a glossy orange apricot filling.

The entire printed surface is filled with the vlaai pattern, turning this familiar Limburg delicacy into a playful and unusual home accessory. Coarse sugar crystals are scattered generously across the golden lattice, adding extra texture and detail to the image. Warm shades of amber, orange, caramel and golden brown dominate the design and give it a distinctive bakery-inspired appearance.

A Limburgse Abrikozenvlaai Design Full of Detail

The close-up composition makes the pastry itself the complete focus of the artwork. Interwoven strips of golden dough cross over one another to form diamond-shaped openings, allowing the rich orange apricot filling underneath to remain clearly visible.

Small translucent sugar crystals cover many of the pastry strips and catch the eye against the smooth baked surface. Between the lattice sections, the glossy fruit filling adds deeper amber and orange tones. Because the image extends across the blanket without text, borders or other illustrations, it creates the fun visual effect of an oversized Limburgse abrikozenvlaai.

This Limburgse Abrikozenvlaai Fleece Blanket is especially suited to people who love Limburg, traditional vlaai or food-themed designs with a humorous twist. It can add character to a kitchen seating area, living room or sofa and makes an original gift for a proud Limburger or someone who simply cannot resist a good piece of abrikozenvlaai.

Soft and Lightweight Fleece

The blanket is made from 100% polyester and features a soft silk touch fabric. It measures approximately 127 × 153 cm (50 × 60 inches), making it a practical size for relaxing at home while displaying its colorful food-inspired design.

The Limburgse abrikozenvlaai artwork is printed on one side, while the reverse side is white. This is a lightweight fleece blanket rather than an extra-thick blanket, and it is machine-washable for convenient everyday care.
